Seapine Software, a leading provider of global quality-centric application lifecycle management (ALM) solutions, today announced the release of TestTrack 2010. This software suite delivers new features, functionality, and enhancements to the popular TestTrack Pro and TestTrack TCM products, and introduces TestTrack RM, Seapine’s new requirements management solution that manages the complete requirement lifecycle, including planning, workflow, traceability, review, change management, and reporting. All three tools seamlessly integrate with one another to provide end-to-end traceability of requirements, issues, and tests.
“We are very excited about the TestTrack 2010 release,” said Paula Rome, senior product manager for Seapine Software’s TestTrack family. “TestTrack 2010 delivers on the promise of providing our customers a single integrated software suite to easily manage the critical phases of their ALM processes. TestTrack 2010 reflects the commitment we have to our customers’ success and to providing the smartest, most efficient way for diverse organizations to improve product quality without slipping the schedule or blowing budgets.”
TestTrack 2010 includes a new text editor that supports rich text and images, automation rule enhancements that provide more options for controlling when rules are triggered and who receives automatic notifications, drag-and-drop linking of TestTrack items, improved screen captures with annotations, and a powerful new capability to mark dependent items as suspect when an item changes.
At the heart of the TestTrack 2010 release is Seapine’s new requirements management solution, TestTrack RM. This robust tool allows project managers, business analysts, QA managers, and development and testing teams to efficiently manage and track project requirements throughout the entire development lifecycle to reduce costly errors and missed deliverables. Whether as a standalone tool or part of Seapine’s integrated ALM solution, TestTrack RM helps teams keep development projects on track by facilitating collaboration, automating traceability, and satisfying compliance needs.
TestTrack 2010 is available immediately for evaluation at Seapine Software’s Web site. For more information on purchasing TestTrack Pro, TestTrack TCM, and TestTrack RM, contact Seapine Software sales.
