The winners of the LinuxWorld Product Excellence Awards - in 14 separate categories - were presented with their awards on Tuesday at the LinuxWorld Expo in San Francisco, in a ceremony emceed by SYS-CON Media West Coast Bureau Chief Roger Strukhoff (pictured). The Product Excellence Awards, managed by the editors of LinuxWorld Magazine in close collaboration with the show's organisers IDG World Expo, recognize the best products and services showcased on the exhibit floor at LinuxWorld Conference & Expo 2005 in San Francisco.
The winners were as follows:
Best Security Solution: Astaro
Most Innovative Hardware Solution: Levanta
Best Servers: Rackable Systems
Best Integration Solution: Win4Lin, Inc.
Best Data Backup or Storage Solution: Coraid
Best Database Solution: Enterprise DB Corporation
Best Open Source Solution: Mambo
Best Systems Management Tool: The OpenNMS Project
Best Utility/Grid: Rackable Systems
Best Desktop/Productivity/Business Application: Xandros
Best Messaging Solution: Scalix
Best Clustering Solution (Joint Winners):
SteelEye Technology
Appro International
Best Application Development Tool: SlickEdit
Best in Show: LTSP

It seems to me that there's an error on this page. At : "storage solution winner...", you wrote coriad instead of coraid and the link redirect to a http://www.coriad.com instead of http://www.coraid.com. |
