Movial Communicator PC Named “Best RCS PC Client” Finalist in GSMA Rich Communication Suite Contest

Movial Communicator PC provides a complete solution for converged IP telephony, Video telephony, contact list management, multimedia sharing, push-to-video, and messaging (IM, SMS & MMS) based on Presence information. The newly launched release delivers HD Voice, Video, Video Conferencing, optimized performance, enhanced Presence-based communication capabilities and smart handling of communication options -- raising the bar in PC communication user experience across Mac OS, Linux and Microsoft Windows platforms. The RCS DevChallenge culminates with a public showcase where the winner will be announced at the world’s largest telecommunication event – Mobile World Congress, in Barcelona on February 15, 2010. Movial Communicator PC 8 has already been selected by two mobile operators for commercial IMS deployments in Q2 and is included in several LTE trials currently underway. Release 8 supports RCS 2, MMtel (the 3GPP/NGN IMS Multimedia Telephony Service), and OMA (Open Mobile Alliance). The new release brings rich unified communications to 4th screen devices and features an improved user interface that enables theming, drag and drop actions, animations, pre-view of favorite website as part of Presence, picture in picture full screen video and one-way video.
