Eucalyptus Spreads to Windows

Eucalyptus Systems has started beta testing a Windows Broker product that will let customers branch out from Linux and create and launch Windows-based virtual machines. It'll be part of the commercial Eucalyptus Enterprise Edition. It's supposed to work with Windows Server 2003 and 2008 as well as Windows 7. Eucalyptus says the Windows images - plus any installed application stack and the running state - can be deployed along with Linux images in the same private cloud. Users can remotely connect to their Windows VMs via RDP and use Amazon get-password semantics.
