Mantas Offers SUSE Linux Enterprise Server to Financial Services Institutions Globally

Claims Increased Performance and Lower Cost of Ownership than Competitors

Mantas has announced a solution that will bring the benefits of Novell's SUSE Linux Enterprise Server operating system on Intel architecture to the compliance, risk and fraud functions at financial institutions around the world. SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, a scalable, high-performance foundation for secure enterprise computing, has been widely adopted by the financial services market because of its ability to deliver increased performance and offer a dramatically lower total cost of ownership than competitors.

Mantas recently joined Novell's PartnerNet program and will certify the Mantas Behavior Detection Platform and each Mantas product offering for use on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9. Mantas is the worldwide leader in compliance solutions for financial services, including anti-money laundering, trading compliance and broker compliance. Mantas also offers products that target operational risk, fraud detection, and revenue generation for financial services.

"These risk and compliance solutions built on Intel platforms are intended to help financial firms worldwide improve sales and customer service, enhance employee productivity and operate more efficiently and with less operational risk," said Howard Morin, Managing Director, Risk Management/Compliance, WW Financial Services at Intel Corporation.
