"Open Source on the Microsoft Platform" is the topic of a session to be led by Shaun Walker (pictured), Founder and Presdient of Perpetual Motion Systems Interactive, at the Enteprise Open Source Conference and Expo in New York on June 5-6. The event is being produced by SYS-CON Events, and is colocated with the Web Services Edge Conference and Expo.

Walker invites attendess to "share first-hand experience of what it is like to operate the most successful open source project on the Microsoft platform, DotNetNuke—a Web Application Framework for ASP.NET. He will explain what he calls the "political" ramifications of working with Microsoft, and will seek too to explain the lack of respect for Windows open source by developers on other platforms.

Shaun's company specializes in Microsoft enterprise technology solutions. He has 15 years' of professional experience in architecting and implementing large-scale IT solutions for private and public organizations, and he is the creator and maintainer of DotNetNuke.
