Alpine Selects Tuxera File Systems for BMW Automotive Infotainment Systems

Tuxera is now shipping in Alpine-manufactured BMW iDrive systems known for bringing new innovations into the automotive infotainment industry.

Tuxera's technology connects navigation and media storages to the in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) system. Tuxera's solutions are especially suited for high-capacity storages with the strictest quality requirements.  For example the demand for the next-generation SDXC cards is driven by quickly growing sizes of maps and other navigation data.
