Le nouveau module HCI Bluetooth Smart Ready BT111 a une puissance d'émission supérieure à 8 dBm, approximativement -90dBm de sensibilité reçue, des dimensions de 13,05 x 9,3 x 2,3 mm et il comporte une antenne puce intégrée.

« Nous avons su profiter de notre expertise en faisant des modules sans fil lorsque nous avons conçu le BT111. L'objectif était de fabriquer un module Bluetooth 4.0 très petit tout en maintenant la performance de la radio. Je pense que nous avons fait un excellent travail : BT111 est 20 % plus petit que nos solutions similaires existantes et il continue de fournir une meilleure performance RF », a déclaré Riku Mettälä, vice-président du service Ingénierie.

Le nouveau module Bluegiga BT111 sera également Bluetooth, certifié CE, FCC, IC, Corée du Sud, et Japon et il offre des fonctionnements de radio prouvés et des coûts de qualification minimums. Les produits Bluegiga ont une longue durée de vie et ils représentent par conséquent des solutions évolutives pour les équipementiers qui ont besoin que les vendeurs de module leur fournissent des modules dont la durée de vie est longue.
