Bluegiga lanza un nuevo módulo de sistema inalámbrico APx4

Bluegiga ha presentado hoy su nuevo módulo de sistema inalámbrico - Bluegiga APx4. APx4 es un módulo de sistema inalámbrico de baja energía que a su vez integra Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, ARM y Linux, ofreciendo una plataforma de desarrollo ideal para los puertos inalámbricos.

Bluegiga APx4 es un módulo de sistema con factor de forma pequeño y baja energía que incluye los últimos estándares en conectividad inalámbrica: 802.11 b/g/n y Bluetooth 4.0. APx4 se basa en la gama de procesador de Freescale i.MX28, y funciona dentro de un sistema operativo integrado Linux basado en el Yocto Project[TM]. Además de estar integrado en el procesador 454MHz ARM9, la tecnología de conectividad inalámbrica y el sistema Linux, APx4 incluye además varias aplicaciones integradas, como agrupaciones 802.11 y Bluetooth 4.0, Continua v.1.5 compatible con el gestor IEEE y mucho más. Esta combinación proporciona una plataforma ideal para el diseño de puertos inalámbricos de múltiples radios que permite un tiempo rápido en el mercado y riesgos de I+D mínimos.

El software Bluegiga APx4 se puede ampliar o dirigir con facilidad para personalizar el sistema operativo Linux con las aplicaciones. Las placas base para APx4 se pueden ampliar con facilidad a fin de incluir casi todo, desde módems 3G a Ethernet e interfaces de audio y pantallas táctiles. Bluegiga APx4 es un producto ideal para aplicaciones que necesitan de tecnologías con conectividad inalámbrica o con cable y una potencia de procesamiento para el procesador ARM9, como los puertos de salud y bienestar, puertos de automatización de hogar y construcción, M2M, puntos de ventas y conectividad industrial.
