O Ubuntu chega para telefones com uma interface refinada e uma capacidade única do PC, quando conectado

A Canonical anunciou hoje uma interface distintiva de smartphone para o sistema operacional popular, o Ubuntu, usando todas as quatro bordas da tela para obter uma experiência mais imersiva. O Ubuntu oferece exclusivamente a aparelhos OEM e operadoras móveis a capacidade de convergir telefone, computador e cliente fino em um único superphone corporativo.

“Esperamos que o Ubuntu se torne popular no mercado corporativo, possibilitando os clientes a utilizarem um único dispositivo seguro para funções de PC, cliente fino e telefone. O Ubuntu destina-se a dois segmentos móveis: o superphone de alta tecnologia e o smartphone básico de entrada, ajudando as operadoras a aumentar o uso de dados entre os clientes, que normalmente usam apenas telefone e mensagens, mas que podem adotar o uso da Web e de e-mail em seus telefones. O Ubuntu também apela para os consumidores profissionais que desejam uma experiência nova com rapidez e desempenho melhorado em um dispositivo com lista de materiais menor.

A interface do aparelho para o Ubuntu apresenta novas experiências distintas do usuário ao mercado móvel, incluindo:

A Canonical facilita a fabricação de telefones com Ubuntu.
