In his new role, Leonard will drive company growth by building strategic relationships and alliances as Continuuity expands to meet increasing developer and enterprise demand for a Big Data Cloud Platform.
An industry veteran with over 25 years of experience in enterprise software and related technology industries, Leonard previously served as Executive Vice President of Worldwide Business Development for Pentaho, a leading business analytics company. Prior to Pentaho, Leonard was Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales at OpenSpan, a provider of desktop productivity improvements for Global 2000 companies. His career also includes a 3-plus year tenure at JBoss, where he joined as an early employee and held several key leadership roles at the company. He was also strategically involved in the $420 million acquisition of JBoss by Red Hat in April 2006. Earlier in his career, Leonard was senior vice president of OEM/ISV sales at Bluestone Software, where he played a key role in their $450 million acquisition by HP.
