TransMedia Group said today that it has secured what it hopes will become the second tier's leading search engine, Kahzam.com - a new search engine created by Charles Loiacono and Ken Moore. According to Loiacono, who is CEO of Kahzam, "We chose TransMedia Group to launch Kahzam.com because of the firm's track record in internet marketing as well as its reach in securing national and international media attention."
Kahzam.com offers an array of innovative features such as "Quick View," which allows users to navigate website after website on the results page without ever leaving that page. Kahzam said it is being responsive to consumers as recent new reports show consumer satisfaction with the major search engines declining. According to a recent study by American Customer Satisfaction Index reported in Advertising Age, "Yahoo's satisfaction rating took the biggest plunge, Even Google ... is slightly down compared to last year's ratings."
"Kahzam.com gives a user-friendly alternative to searching the web," said TransMedia Group Vice President, Kim Morgan. "Kahzam creators Charlie Loiacono and Ken Moore have packed their search engine with features found only on the big search engines, including up-to-the-minute news, free web mail, discounts on travel through kahzamtravel.com, free games, plus innovations found nowhere else on the web."
Advertisers will be attracted to Kahzam.com because it offers innovative anti-click-fraud controls and service far superior to second tier competitors such as GoClick, she said. Advertisers can place banners above search results on any given page and the television on the homepage streams 15, 30 or 60 second commercials. Kahzam accepts only one click per 24-hours from each IP address, thereby eliminating what has become a glaring fraud rampant on other services leading to criminal prosecutions.
"Everyone on a computer uses search engines all day long," states Tom Madden, founder and CEO of TransMedia Group. "Kahzam.com changes the dynamics of searching the web by providing the best free services and the easiest navigational tools."
