Mortgage Builder's LOS stores and tracks all borrower information including property type, appraisals, loan information and income information. Mortgage Builder supports Microsoft and UNIX platforms and is the first provider of Linux-based LOS software to the industry. Clayton's Compliance Software Suite uses this information to analyze loans for high-cost characteristics and ensures that lenders comply with anti-predatory lending laws and meet certain thresholds for legislation purposes. Clayton Compliance Services reviews more than 200,000 client loans annually.
"Mortgage Builder and Clayton have several common clients and we found that a comprehensive system integration would create a cost and marketing benefit to both companies," said Keven Smith, president of Mortgage Builder. "Our customers will enjoy a quicker process of compliance analysis and an open communication flow. It also removes the need for sampling. It is now possible to test all loans in a pool quickly, instead of taking a sample group and testing them."
"We are excited about the integration with Mortgage Builder Software," said Brent Cavan, vice president, Clayton Compliance Services. "The ability to deliver the Clayton Compliance Software Suite as an integrated part of Mortgage Builder Software dramatically enhances the flow of information and the value we can provide to our clients."
"We are always seeking new and innovative ways to facilitate the mortgage process for our customers," said Smith. "Integrations with partners such as Clayton streamline and speed loan originations and save our customers both time and money."
