Icron's USB 2.0 RG2300 Core Series embedded daughter board extender modules will be on display at booth #1-170 from February 25th - 27th in Nürnberg, Germany

BURNABY, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired) -- 02/14/14 -- Icron Technologies Corporation, a leader in USB and video extension technology, today announced that HY-LINE Computer Components a specialized distributor and representative of high-tech products, will be showing Icron's newest USB 2.0 embedded core extender modules at the embedded world exhibition at booth 1-170 in Hall 1 from February 25th - 27th at Nurnberg, Germany.

The USB 2.0 RG2300 Core Series builds upon Icron's previous generations of reliable embedded USB 2.0 extension daughter board modules by maintaining the benefits of ExtremeUSB® extension technology enhanced by newly added capabilities such as data transmission over Local Area Network (LAN), SwitchableUSB(TM) compatibility, Device Class Filtering options, and faster performance with read-write devices such as flash drives. To enable an easy development transition, this next generation integrated USB 2.0 extension solution is delivered in a compact, cost-effective SO-DIMM form factor with pin compatibility to Icron's earlier RG2100 Core modules. With the flexibility of extending USB 2.0 at 480Mbps over copper, fiber and LAN, OEM developers enjoy full control in how USB extension integrates with their products. The RG2300 Core Series modules support USB 2.0 extension up to 100 meters over Cat X, up to 500 meters over multi-mode fiber, and up to 10 kilometers when using single-mode fiber.
