Life Science Products Selects abas ERP Due to Ease of Use and Robust Standard Functionality

STERLING, VA -- (Marketwired) -- 05/08/14 -- Life Science Products (LSP) has selected abas-USA as their ERP partner moving forward. LSP is a production and distribution company in the biomedical and pharmaceutical industry specializing in construction products and services as well as PPE and Safety Supplies. With support for their existing Navision system no longer available, the team at Life Science Products began looking for an ERP solution that could optimize warehouse inventory levels and control stock keeping units with barcoding and improved visibility for the finished goods division.

By eliminating manual processes, decision makers using abas ERP will be able to make more informed business decisions based on accurate and easily-accessible data in a custom, simplified dashboard. abas ERP will encourage operational excellence and business optimization by introducing barcode controlled warehousing to improve inventory levels and eliminate inaccuracies.

"We are looking forward to the ability to drill down and look at inventory items. This will allow us to create sales orders based on inventory availability and options. There's no end to the extra features that will make our processes easier, or the ease with which we can extract the information we need to run our business," said Jeff Nuse, CFO of Life Science Products.

When talking IoT we often focus on the devices, the sensors, the hardware itself. The new smart appliances, the new smart or self-driving cars (which are amalgamations of many ‘things'). When we are looking at the world of IoT, we should take a step back, look at the big picture. What value are these devices providing. IoT is not about the devices, its about the data consumed and generated. The devices are tools, mechanisms, conduits. This paper discusses the considerations when dealing with the...
