La GSMA atteint de nouveaux records au Mobile Asia Expo 2014

La GSMA a annoncé aujourd’hui que plus de 26 000* visiteurs uniques provenant de 93 pays et territoires ont participé à l’édition 2014 du Mobile Asia Expo, tenu du 11 au 13 juin à Shanghai. La conférence-exposition de trois jours a attiré les cadres des opérateurs mobiles, fabricants, fournisseurs d’équipement, sociétés de logiciels et sociétés Internet les plus grands et les plus influents de l’industrie, ainsi que des consommateurs friands de technologie. Le programme de la conférence a attiré plus de 3 000 participants, et plus de 55 % des délégués étaient des cadres de niveau C, dont plus de 150 chefs de direction.

Plus de 640 médias et analystes internationaux de l’industrie ont assisté à l’événement afin de relayer les nombreuses annonces de l’industrie faites au Mobile Asia Expo.

Les leaders de l’industrie et des chefs de gouvernement se réunissent à Shanghai

Mobile Asia Expo a commencé ses activités le 11 juin avec des discours de Jon Fredrik Baksaas, Président de la GSMA, Liu Lihua, Vice-ministre de l’industrie et des technologies de l’information et Sun Jiwei, Gouverneur du nouveau district de Pudong. Le programme de la conférence Mobile Forum de deux jours comprenait des discours de dirigeants d’organisations, dont China Mobile, China Telecom, Hong Leong Islamic Bank, Huawei, JD.com, Kakao Corporation, KT Corp., Telenor Group, Xiaomi, Weibo Corporation, ZTE et 4iiii Innovation.

Promotion des principales sociétés de l’industrie mobile

L’exposition Mobile Asia Expo est une plateforme de promotion des entreprises de tout l’écosystème du mobile, ainsi que des secteurs adjacents. Parmi ces entreprises peut citer notamment Alcatel-Lucent Shanghai Bell, AT&T, BMW, Canonical/Ubuntu, China Mobile, China Telecom, China Unicom, Coolpad, Dell, Chunghwa Telecom, Citrix, DaTang Telecom, Gemalto, Hitatchi, Huawei, JDSU, Lenovo, Hangzhou Kuaizhi Technology Co. Ltd., KT Corp., McAfee, NTT DOCOMO, Oberthur Technologies, PayPal, Qihoo 360 Technology, SK Telecom, Visa et ZTE. L’Expo comprend 14 pavillons et zones de promotion pour les entreprises mobiles d’un certain nombre de régions et de pays et dans des domaines technologiques spécifiques.

Mobile Asia Expo a à nouveau proposé une large gamme de programmes vedettes, y compris App Planet, Innovation Labs, Partner Events, Professional Training, et des événements tels que Global Device Summit et Wearable Device Summit.

De nouveaux éléments consommateurs au MAE

Pour 2014, la GSMA a introduit de nombreux nouveaux programmes et expériences pour les consommateurs friands de technologie présents au Mobile Asia Expo, y compris le Fitbit Challenge et la chasse au trésor « The Quest for Area 14 ». Sur plus de 1 600 mètres carrés, la ville connectée mettaient en évidence un éventail de produits et services mobiles connectés des sociétés telles Accenture, BMW, China Unicom, Cityzen, Fitbit, Huawei, Jibe Mobile, KT, Omate, Oral-B, Qihoo 360, Qualcomm Incorporated, Sequans, Sest-Tech , uPlane, Wanlink Global Technology (SZ) Limited, offrant aux participants du Mobile Asia Expo l’opportunité d’expérimenter le « Connected Life » (le mode de vie connecté) en première ligne.

China Mobile était le parrain Platine du Mobile Asia Expo et Huawei le parrain Or de l’événement. Le Mobile Asia Expo compte des partenaires stratégiques tels China Mobile Communications Association (CMCA) et Shanghai TD-LTE Industry-cum-technological Innovation and Strategy Alliance (SCIA).
