Powerful Scheduler
BackupEDGE combines one of the most powerful schedulers available with device quotas, retention times, and unique “lazy reclamation” method to maximize the number of available backups should an individual file retrieval or a disaster recovery to a particular backup point be required.

MySQL Hot Backups
BackupEDGE provides hot backup and restore of MySQL databases. Backups are sent directly to the archive medium without creating intermediate files. Restores may be into temporary files or straight back into the MySQL database.

Web Administration
Along with a traditional character and graphical user interface, BackupEDGE provides secure, web-based administration using any Java-enabled web browser. Just browse to the Linux server on the BackupEDGE administration port at any time.
