EnterpriseDB Welcomes Newgen to Global Certified ISV Program

EnterpriseDB and Newgen Certify Newgen's OmniDocs ECM Suite and OmniFlow BPM Suite on Postgres Plus Advanced Server

PUNE, INDIA -- (Marketwired) -- 08/10/14 -- EnterpriseDB (EDB), the leading worldwide provider of enterprise-class Postgres products and Oracle database compatibility solutions, today announced that Newgen Software Technologies has joined EDB's global independent software vendor (ISV) program.

Working with EDB, Newgen has certified Newgen OmniDocs - Enterprise Content Management Suite and OmniFlow - Business Process Management Suite with EDB's flagship Postgres Plus Advanced Server. The two companies are also embarking upon joint marketing and sales engagements with enterprises across the globe. The recent certification is an expansion of EDB's relationship with Newgen, which has seen some of the largest implementations in the enterprise content management space in the world.

Newgen Software is a global provider of Business Process Management (BPM), Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and Customer Communication Management (CCM) solutions with more than 1,100 installations spread across 58 countries.

"Demand for low-cost, highly performing alternatives to proprietary databases is spreading across the enterprise application spectrum," said Ethan O'Rafferty, Vice President, Alliances and Channel, at EnterpriseDB. "EDB's Postgres Plus Advanced Server is in high demand for the mission-critical systems that our solutions support, making this an ideal partnership."
