AJAX is about a rich user interface that is not just reactive but also pro-active. It's about content, perhaps socialized (user-generated) content; and it's about pain-free deployment, with loosely coupled services. It's not about 'eye candy.' Joe Stagner is a senior program manager at Microsoft Corporation's Developer Tools and Platform Group and has been with Microsoft since 2001, focusing on highly scalable and performant Web application architectures, multiplatform interoperability, and software security. Joe brings 30 years of technical and business strategy experience to Microsoft.
