FORT LAUDERDALE, FL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 04/03/08 -- Universal Insurance Holdings, Inc. ("UIH") (AMEX: UVE), a vertically integrated insurance holding company, announced today a typographical error in the headings of certain of the financial statements in its Annual Report on Form 10-KSB as filed with the SEC on March 17, 2008. The Company confirms that its financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2007, as filed, are audited. The Company regrets the error and will be filing promptly a corrective amendment to its Form 10-KSB.
