Red Hat Summit Offers Breakout Sessions

SYS-CON.TV Covers Event

There are seven tracks being offered at the first Red Hat Summit in New Orleans. Categories include Clustering and Virtualization, Security and Identity Management, Systems Management, Business, OS Technologies (with two tracks), and Partner Sessions.

Specific sessions on tap for Thursday include System Performance Tuning and Analysis, a Red Hat Linux Enterprise Overview, High-Security Solutions for Identity Management and Privacy Control, “Open Source Triple Play” in the Business track, Lifecycle Management, Using Hardware Tokens to Extend Security Infrastructure, Workplace Services, and many others.

Thursday will also feature an opening keynote by Red Hat’s Michael Tiemann and a partner keynote by IBM’s Irving Wladawsky-Berger.

The event will run through Friday morning, with Intel’s Richard Wirt set to deliver a partner keynote on the final day.
