Ingres and FRANK Linux Systems to Drive Open Source Technology in Austria

Ingres Corporation, the leading open source database management company and pioneer of the New Economics of IT, and FRANK Linux Systems, a value added reseller, have entered into a comprehensive distribution partnership for the Austrian market. FRANK Linux Systems will distribute Ingres solutions and services to the specialized trade market in Austria. The agreement with FRANK Linux Systems is a further milestone in the Ingres global partner strategy, with the Austrian market providing excellent open source growth potential.

FRANK Linux Systems is a specialized distributor, based in Austria, with a comprehensive range of open source software solutions. The agreement with Ingres represents a strategic expansion of its product range in the region. As a Red Hat distributor, FRANK Linux Systems and its customers can take advantage of the recently announced Ingres Development Stack for JBoss, which is the first-ever fully pre-assembled bundle that combines Ingres Database with Red Hat’s JBoss Developer Studio and JBoss Enterprise Application Platform.
