Linux Networx Announces Record Growth
Company to Focus on Delivering Linux Supersystems

Digg This!

Linux Networx, the Linux Supercomputing Company, has announced record company growth and an expanded corporate focus on delivering a systems experience to Linux supercomputing users. Linux Networx also announced the LS Series, a family of Linux Supersystems that blend the price/performance of Linux with the power of legacy supercomputing while providing total systems value.

Revenues in Q3 were the largest in company history, surpassing the previous record set in the second quarter of 2005. The company now delivers more than one third of its Linux supercomputers to new customers who are taking advantage of the price/performance of Linux supercomputers for the first time. Overall, Linux Networx has enjoyed compound annual revenue growth in excess of 50 percent, fueling its expansion to deliver its new line of Linux Supersystems, the LS Series.

"Linux Networx's growth validates our Linux supercomputing leadership and also points to the expanding adoption of Linux by supercomputing users," said Robert (Bo) H. Ewald, CEO of Linux Networx. "We expect our new LS Series to power even more users to leverage the advantage offered by Linux within our high-value, easy-to-own and operate Linux Supersystems."

Linux Networx's success stems from the company's commitment to listen and respond to customer requirements -- providing supercomputing solutions that meet users' ever-changing and expanding needs. The LS Series represents the company's latest response to users' requests for Linux Supersystems proven to deliver optimum supercomputing performance blended with ultimate systems value. The LS Series is designed to eliminate the risk, cost and complexity associated with first-generation cluster deployment and operations -- providing users with application-optimized Linux Supersystems that are delivered ready for performance at power-up.
